I am a person with a mission!! Well actually just really busy doing 20 things at once LOL. Busy people get things done right… right? I love music, dancing and having fun, I love to laugh and see people happy, well feed and looked after. We as a childcare facility have an impact on Families and a child’s well being – for better or worse. I will strive to advocate for a Society that meets all our children’s need. They are our future and are WORTH IT. As the African proverb goes ~ “It takes a village to raise a child” we don’t have to do it alone. I have big plans, big dreams and a supper team beside me!

I love to be with children and watch them grow. I have been with the day care since it opened and I am enjoying watching it grow with the children. Living on a farm just out side of Elk Point, with many animals on it, allows me to enjoy horse back riding. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I have lived all my life in the Elk Point area and Graduated from F.G Miller. I started working in Day care in August 2005. I live on an acreage and have one dog, three cats, a ferret and a bunch of Chickens. I enjoy gardening, cooking/baking, and spending time with my family and pets. Shopping and swimming are also some of my favorite past times. I never knew that I wanted to work with Kids growing up, but since I started in 2005 I can not imaging doing anything else. I think Children teach us more than what they learn from us.

I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have a daughter. I am a friendly person who is always happy and love to be around children. I love out door activities, swimming, volleyball, dancing and singing. I have 22 years experience in child care and have received my level one certification. Being with children is interesting and very challenging and that is what I enjoy most.

I am a graduate of Vermillion Lakeland College 2009. It was there I discovered my passion for children and my love for a day filled with laughter. I am also currently enrolled at the University of Alberta taking my Bachelor of Education. I strongly advise people in the community and those neighboring to come and check out our amazing facility. I like Posted notes and paper clips, I get excited for the New Year because I will get a new day timer and I like to browse thought an office supply catalog. But what I really LOVE is playing with my son and being with my family. Not every one can be blessed enough to have one parent stay at home and raise their children for those who can’t they should be blessed with a terrific day care and Play 2 Learn Daycare is that place!
